About Me
I Am My Father's Daughter

Growing up in a house full of girls, I unofficially took on the role as my father's only son. So when the time came to fix a leaky sink or change the oil in the family car, it was me that stood by my father's side. Thanks to him and everything he taught me, I am now able to take care of myself and my children in a way that not everyone can. I have tried over the years to engage my own daughter in the same way my father engaged me, but she's currently more interested in playing with dolls than fixing potholes. After my father passed away last year, I vowed to find a way to pass on everything he taught me, this blog is my way of keeping that promise. I truly hope that you learn as much as I have over the years.

Why You Should Consider Hiring A Crane Rental Company

Beatrice Reid

If a crane is not one of the pieces of equipment that you use all of the time on the jobs you are on, you might want to consider renting a crane. Before you suspect that this is not the best thing for you to do, you will want to review the following points. This way, you will have the information you need to make the decision that will best suit the needs of your company.

You Don't Have To Haul It

Having to haul a crane from one job site to the next is a job in and of itself. You need the right vehicle to haul it and you need to make sure that you have a driver who will be able to get it from one location to the next without causing any traffic problems. However, when you simply go with the rented crane, this is not an issue that you need to deal with. The rental company will drop it off and pick it up on the scheduled date. Since this is their line of work, they will have the expertise to do all of the transporting of the crane without any issues.

You Don't Need To Have Extra Insurance Coverage

The more machinery you have, the more insurance coverage you will need to have. While there are different sizes of cranes and some cranes will cost more than others, they are all still fairly expensive to replace. When you simply rent a crane whenever it is needed, it will be the rental company that will hold the insurance policy instead of you. This can save you a lot of money over the years.

You Don't Need To Find Suitable Storage

Since the crane is not typically used for every job, or even for the entire job when it is needed, it needs to be stored in a proper place. This means that you will have to rent a storage unit that is tall enough to fit it or you will have to custom build a garage for it. This is an added expense that you do not have to deal with when you are renting a crane.

Once you have come to the conclusion that you are going to rent a crane when that machine is needed, you will want to start looking at companies like A C Jones Trucking Inc in your area. This way, you will have plenty of time to research their reputation, the quality of the cranes that they provide, and the prices that they give their customers.
